SHIPPING METHODS AND OPTIONS

Most orders are shipped SmartPost, USPS and FedEx. Gear Outland will always attempt to use the most time-efficient shipping method allowed for the products being shipped. Multiple shipping methods may be used for an order, depending on the methods available for items in that order.

Whenever possible, Gear Outland offers the following shipping options:

  • Standard ground delivery (4 - 7 business days)

Most orders ship within 48 hours. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days following the day the order was placed. Business days do not include weekends and holidays.  Please note that during peak season/start of hunting season orders can take up to 5 days to ship

Due to their size, heavyweight and oversized packages will be shipped by freight truck. Please allow 7-10 business days for freight delivery. Packages will be delivered outside the front door of the shipping address. White glove delivery (inside building delivery or product set up) is not currently available.

TRACKING YOUR SHIPMENT

You will receive an email notification when all or part of your order ships. The email will provide the information you need to track your shipment. 

SALES TAX

Where applicable, Gear Outland will charge sales tax on taxable items. Sales tax is calculated on the cost of the taxable merchandise. Depending on state-specific regulations, sales tax may also be assessed on shipping and handling costs.

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Most orders ship within in 48 hours after the order is processed.  There is no charge to cancel an order, if it can be cancelled prior to shipment.  In the event, the order can not be cancelled there are two options:  1. The customer can pay the return to sender fee to return the item and the supplier will issue a credit to Gear Outland, if this option is available based on the method of shipment OR  2. The customer will have to return the item once it arrives as outlined under the return policy.  

RETURN POLICY

Returns are free for any defective items purchased within 30 days only.  Most merchandise in new, unused, and resalable condition, and returned within 30 days will receive a refund less re-stocking fees and shipping costs.  All merchandise for return or exchange must be accompanied by a valid RA or RMA #. Please do not ship an item back without being issued an RA/RMA #.  Please write the RA/RMA# order on the box. Returning shipping charges and re-stocking fees for non-defective items will paid by the customer.  Our current suppliers charge from 10 - 25% in re-stocking fees depending on the item purchased while some of the suppliers do not charge any fees.  Re-stocking fees are typically charged on clothing and other items that have been worn by the customer.  The re-stocking fee is set by the supplier of the item to be able to accept the return.  I do my best to try to lower the fees, if possible.  Please note the return process can take sometime, so please be patient. We do not accept returns or exchanges for items such as close-out items, custom cut merchandise, special orders or obsolete products. Other restrictions may include inspection of the item by an authorized service center. All warranty/service claims will be processed according to the manufacturers’ policies.

DISPUTES, CHARGEBACKS or CLAIMS

Please note that any fees charged based on a dispute, chargeback or claim by credit card companies, merchant processors like Square, stripe, Braintree or PayPal will be deducted from the refund amount for those disputes, chargebacks or claims that are won in favor of Gear Outland.  There will be times were orders are delayed by no fault of Gear Outland but due to issues outside of the control this company.  Please note Gear Outland is a dropship company that is using many suppliers that service your orders in a timely manner.  These suppliers get delayed at times causing issues between Gear Outland and the customer.  Please email to resolve these matters before needing to escalate them.  Thank you.
